Dr. Barajas is proud to be one of the first physicians in Northwest Indiana to offer non-surgical hemorrhoid care in his office.  Highly skilled in the treatment of vein disorders, he can evaluate and recommend the best treatment for you, including infrared coagulation (IRC) therapy, a painless and highly effective treatment of rectal hemorrhoids.  In addition, he has recently incorporated the new CRH O'Regan System of hemorrhoid ligation to his skilled care.

Dr. Barajas opened his family practice, Family Life Clinic, in 2004.  In 2007, he received additional specialized training in the field of phlebology, which addresses vein disorders like varicose veins and rectal hemorrhoids.  As a board certified phlebologist, Dr. Barajas treats varicose veins at the Decatur Vein Clinic, which is located onsite with the Hemorrhoid Treatment Center in Hobart, Indiana.

A native of Northwest Indiana, Dr. Barajas graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science.  He completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1998.  As a preceptor for Indiana University Medical School NW Campus, he continues to be committed to academic development and the pursuit of excellence in mastering the latest technology to help his patients.

Proud of his ethnic heritage, Dr. Barajas has a particular interest in addressing the healthcare needs in the underserved Hispanic population.   He is fluent in both English and Spanish, and boasts a bilingual staff to help his patients communicate effectively and receive excellent care.
